DYnamische Architectuur (DYA) is een doelgerichte, pragmatische benadering van architectuur. Deze website ondersteunt de Maturity Matrix uit DYA door middel van een tool die de vragen uit de matrix aanbiedt en de resultaten presenteert.
Rechts boven vindt u twee links. De eerste verwijst naar de invul tool. U dient voor het gebruik een account aan te maken voor deze site. Na het invullen van de vragen krijgt u de resultaten te zien. Deze resultaten kunt u eventueel ook delen met iemand die geen account heeft.
De tweede is een viewer van de onderbouwing van de matrix. Beide zijn tweetalig.
Er is een klein aantal beheerders en DYA specialisten die alle antwoorden en resultaten kunnen inzien. Houd hier rekening mee bij het invullen van uw gegevens.
Waarom DYA?
DYA® is een bewezen set van best practices, ontwikkeld door Sogeti, die ondersteunt bij het bereiken van een effectieve architectuurfunctie in uw organisatie. Tal van organisaties in Nederland en daarbuiten gebruiken (delen van) DYA bij het werken onder architectuur. Het is zo goed als zeker dat er ook voor u bruikbare handvatten en instrumenten in DYA zitten die ook u heel goed kunt inzetten.
Volwassenheid van uw architectuurfunctie
In de visie van DYA is het succes van architectuur in een organisatie heel sterk afhankelijk van de volwassenheid van de architectuurfunctie. Het gaat niet primair om het maken van mooie architectuurbeschrijvingen, maar om het gedragen en geïmplementeerd krijgen van de principes en modellen waaruit de architectuur bestaat. Het proces om te komen tot een architectuur is hierbij belangrijker dan de architectuur zelf! Dit denken zit opgesloten in DYA.
Waar het uiteindelijk voor elke individuele organisatie op aankomt is het inrichten van een architectuurfunctie die past bij de structuur en cultuur van de eigen organisatie. Dat vereist maatwerk. Je kunt nu eenmaal niet van de rest van de organisatie verwachten dat ze zich aanpassen aan de architectuurfunctie. Het moet juist andersom; de architectuurfunctie moet zich aanpassen aan bestaande werkwijzen en manieren waarop besluiten tot stand komen. Ook als die verandert, bijvoorbeeld door de overgang naar Agile werken. DYA sluit hier prima bij aan.
DYA vrij beschikbaar
DYA is het gedachtegoed van Sogeti, maar is vrij beschikbaar in de vorm van boeken en papers. Aan toepassing van DYA zijn geen voorwaarden of kosten verbonden anders dan de vermelding dat DYA een geregistreerd merk is van Sogeti. Om DYA effectief toe te passen is uiteraard inzicht nodig in wat DYA is en wat u daarmee kunt. Deze kennis kan worden verkregen door het bestuderen van de boeken en papers, maar ook door training of coaching en door experts, bijvoorbeeld van Sogeti te betrekken bij het inrichten en professionaliseren van uw architectuurfunctie.
Het rendement op het gebruik van DYA is hoog. Best practices van DYA, en daarmee het gebruik van de Maturity Matrix, kunnen helpen om uw architectuurfunctie vanaf de start de juiste dingen te laten doen en daarmee valkuilen te voorkomen.

Dynamic Architecture (DYA) is a goal-oriented, pragmatic approach to architecture. This website supports the Maturity Matrix from DYA by means of a tool that offers the questions from the matrix and presents the results.
At the top right you will find two links. The first refers to the fill-in tool. You must create an account for this site before using it. After completing the questions, you will see the results. You can also share these results with someone who does not have an account. The second link is a viewer of the matrix’s justification. Both are bilingual.
There is a small number of administrators and DYA specialists who can see all the answers and results. Keep this in mind when entering your details.
Why DYA?
DYA® is a proven set of best practices, developed by Sogeti, that supports you in achieving an effective architecture function in your organization. Numerous organizations in the Netherlands and abroad use (parts of) DYA when working under architecture. It is almost certain that there are useful handles and instruments in DYA that you can also use very well.
Maturity of your architecture function
In DYA’s view, the success of architecture in an organization is highly dependent on the maturity of the architecture function. It is not primarily about making beautiful architecture descriptions, but about getting the principles and models that make up the architecture supported and implemented. The process of creating an architecture is more important than the architecture itself! This thinking is the basis of DYA.
What it ultimately comes down to for each individual organization is setting up an architecture function that matches the structure and culture of its own organization. That requires customization. You simply cannot expect the rest of the organization to adapt to the architecture function. It should be the other way around; the architecture function must adapt to existing working methods and ways in which decisions are made. Even if it changes, for example due to the transition to Agile working. DYA fits in perfectly with this.
DYA freely available
DYA is created by Sogeti, but it is freely available in the form of books and papers. There are no conditions or costs associated with the application of DYA, other than the statement that DYA is a registered trademark of Sogeti. To apply DYA effectively, you obviously need insight into what DYA is and what you can do with it. This knowledge can be obtained by studying the books and papers, but also by training or coaching and by involving experts, for example from Sogeti, in the design and professionalization of your architecture function.
The return on the use of DYA is high. Best practices from DYA, and thus the use of the Maturity Matrix, can help to get your architecture function to do the right things from the start and thus avoid pitfalls.
